Sharon Bell

LE, Master Esthetician

Sharon is a full time Senior Educator for Dermalogica and the International Dermal Institute, and a guest lecturer for Greet The Day.

Following a 19-year career as a social worker and teacher of social work Sharon returned to school to train in Esthetics.

She entered the world of skin care working independently in her own practice for several years before joining the International Dermal Institute in 2010.

Having lost both parents to cancer, and during her time in the treatment room seeing clients who oftentimes had a history of cancer treatment, inspired Sharon to become cancer aware. She realized there was a lot more to working safely with oncology clients than just “calming and soothing”.

Wanting to be sure that she was treating clients correctly Sharon completed advanced training and work-based learning externships in Oncology Skin Care. This education has enabled her to combine her passions; her love of skin, and her innate ability to care for others and help other therapists safely do the same.
